Health and Dental Benefits:

All members of the Central Falls Police Department are provided with health care coverage for single officers of family plans.
Dental Coverage is provided by Delta Dental which provides 100% coverage.

Paid Vacation accural

Vacation leave will accrue for police officers as follows:

Continuous Employment for at least one year -12 Days yearly
5 Years - 18 days yearly
10 Years - 26 days yearly

Sick Leave Accrual

Sick leave is accumalated at the rate of .075 per day worked.
18 days of sick leave per year is granted to all members of the Central Falls Police.
Members hired after 1/1/94, may only accure a total of 120 Days.

Retirement

All Central Falls police officers are eligible to retire after
20 years of service and regardless of age. Upon retirement, officers
willreceive 50% of their pay. Police officers who wish to remain beyond 20 years will recieve an additional retirement benifit of 2% per year up to 25 years of service. Those officers who wish to remain beyond 25 years will recieve an additional retirement benefit of 1%. The maximum retirement benefits obtainable is 65%.

College Incentive

Police officers who have degrees, will receive an additional pay incentive. Officers will be paid for only one degree at the highest academic level obtained.

Longevity

Members of the Central Falls Police Department recieve an additional pay based on the amount of years of service. The longevity payment is computed on the officer's base pay.
